Malaseb medicated foam is a therapeutic shampoo designed to aid in the treatment of bacterial and fungal skin infections. It may be used on dogs and cats. The formulation is designed to remove scale and degrease the skin and reduce any itching. It is effective against common skin bacteria and fungi associated with disease (Staphylococcus intermedius, Malassezia pachydermatis) and can be used to treat seborrhoeic dermatitis associated with these organisms.
The product will also aid in the treatment of ringworm due to Microsporum canis, Microsporum gypseum or Trichophyton mentagrophytes, by killing infective spores and decreasing the time to clinical resolution. It should be used in conjunction with other anti-fungal medication for best results in Ringworm treatment. All in-contact animals should be treated with Malaseb in the case of Ringworm to avoid the spread of infection and environmental contamination.
Directions for use: Massage shampoo into wet coat. Ensure the product is applied around the lips, under the tail and between the toes, as these areas harbor infective organisms. Lather into a foam and leave on skin for 10 minutes before rinsing. Repeat twice weekly until symptoms subside, or as required. 50mL would be adequate to treat a 30kg dog with medium length hair and 7-10 mL for an adult cat.
Shampoo contains: CHLORHEXIDINE GLUCONATE 20g/L, MICONAZOLE NITRATE 20g/L
Storage: Store at room temperature, below 30°C

I have a Maltese/Jack Russell who suffers from chronic ear infections. My vet suggested diluting Dermcare Malaseb Medicated Shampoo and using it weekly to clean her ears. Since I started this treatment ear infections have become a thing of the past. Because the shampoo is medicated and can be diluted it is cost effective and I buy from Trixanpet because they offer better value than the vet.

Fantastic Value
My little Maltese Terrier suffers from a grass allergy and this shampoo was recommended by our vet. It has been wonderful for her skin, gives her fur a lovely soft feel and smells great as well. Trixanpet supplies it at around half the price of the initial bottle I purchased from the vet. Great value for money.

MALASEB MEDICATED SHAMPOO
I've been using this product for ages for my dogs. for the simple reasons that it significantly reduces itching as well as it has the effect of "moisturizing" my dogs' skin. None of those "dandruffy" skin!.

Malaseb Medicated Shampoo
My 8 month old Cavalier has an itch problem and our local vet suggested using Malaseb Medicated Shampoo to relieve the symptoms. After a bath following the instructions on the bottle he does not seem to be scratching so much. He is having further tests to find out exactly what is causing his discomfort, but the Malaseb certainly relieves his scratching. On the plus side his coat positively glistens, the blenheim colour is a rich russet red and the white has a glowing pearly white sheen which makes him look all the more handsome. Also your company's price was almost half of the retail prices for the same product.
