Tips and Tricks for Using Advocate Flea Control and Heartworm Preventative
Spot-on applications are generally well tolerated by dogs and cats but if difficulties arise with treatment there are several tricks to try. Having an assistant help with dosing can be useful. Another person can distract the animal with pats, treats and the like whilst the product is applied. Dosage can be incorporated into the grooming schedule for that day so the animal is unaware of the treatment. The product can be applied just prior to a walk in animals which tend to roll in the grass after such applications to ensure it remains in place.
To help ensure that each treatment is remembered, owners should mark the due dates on the calendar. The product should be applied on the same date each month and some owners find the 1st of the month an easy date to remember treatments.

Advocate Flea and Worm Treatment
I have been using this product on my cat for years as I find it the most effective and reliable treatment for fleas and worms on the market. My cat has never had any fleas and as we have possums in the back yard as well I think this is remarkable as I have been told possums carry many fleas. The service I get from Trixan Pet is fantastic thankyou I put my order in one day and receive it the next day by post.

Advocate Flea Control & Heartworm Preventative
ADVOCATE is easy to apply, my dogs have no concerns with the medication and it's easy to remember the monthly application, especially since I do it on the first day of each month. AND it works - I've never had a flea in the house and my two dogs have no evidence of heartworm after three years of using ADVOCATE.

Value for Money
Advocate treats a wide range of parasites and its very convenient. No need for separate medication for heart-worms and fleas. Another plus is you just have to apply it and that's it - instant protection.
